BrickCheck

BrickCheck measures and immediately displays the thickness of refractory brick and concrete for industrial ovens, kilns and furnaces as well as unreinforced refractory concrete. The instrument allows operations to measure the thickness after drilling one hole through the refractory material for calibration. This product is faster and less destructive than drill core methods, which can require up to 200 drill holes, and accurate within 5 millimeters (0.1 inches). Operators can transfer data from the device via USB or Bluetooth connection, making transfers easy.

BrickCheck includes a control unit, measuring probe, connecting cable, anti-dust cover, carrying case and instruction manual.

FAQs

Does Bricking Solutions still offer the Linometer?

No, the original equipment manufacturer discontinued making the product. We replaced it with another product called BrickCheck.

Why did you choose BrickCheck as the replacement?

We chose the BrickCheck because it’s the most comparable device on the market for measuring brick thickness.

What are the differences between the Linometer and BrickCheck?

The most obvious difference is the size of the measuring head. It’s a large disc versus the smaller rectangular head of the Linometer. The BrickCheck’s manner of measuring is more accurate than the Linometer’s was, and it will also measure up to 300 mm thickness.
